In the Footsteps of Genghis Khan

and

Mongolia: Traditions Reborn

On February 10th 2006, the National Geographic museum and the Mongolian embassy opened an exhibit that displayed many aspects of Mongolian culture. Mongolian art, film, and costume were all displayed. Mongolian musicians and singers performed and Mongolian food and drink was served.

Members of Circle of Tengerism participated in this event and performed a shaman’s stomp dance.

The museum gave us a room to keep our shaman regalia and gear. This place became our hang-out for the weekend.
